Brinton Garden Safari

Despite the heat members had a most enjoyable afternoon looking around five gardens in Brinton followed by tea and cake at Brinton Hall.

Bravo to all those who donned their sun hats or fished in the attic for a parasol and visited the five participating gardens at Brinton in record-breaking July heat, and hats off to those gardeners who worked so hard to keep their gardens looking so beautiful in these difficult conditions. Gazebos, cold drinks, and iced water were set out to keep us as comfortable as possible during our tour.

Especial thanks go to Michele Bishop for pulling this event together and Esme and Jeremy Bagnall Oakeley for providing us with tea, cake, and a shady space to gather for a chat in their wonderful garden at Brinton Hall the end of the afternoon.
